About Kristjan Gomboc
Originally from Slovenia, Kristjan Gomboc has been working and living in Switzerland since 2013 for the market leading, multinational construction power tools company - Hilti. Kristjan is currently the Head of User Experience in Hilti’s Global I.T. department leading a team of UX professionals residing in both Switzerland and Kuala Lumpur.
Prior to his current role, Kristjan was leading Hilti’s User Interface Design team, was a Lead Designer of Hilti’s flagship engineering software (PROFIS) and the re-design project of the company’s mobile solutions for its salesforce.
Kristjan holds an engineering degree in System Logistics from the University of Maribor (Slovenia), has studied Business Informatics in University of Würzburg (Germany) and did an internship on the topic of Cross-cultural work environment in Beijing (China).
Before embarking his journey in Hilti, Kristjan was working on Front-end development for Web and Mobile solutions.
Throughout the years, he has devoted his career to optimize how digital interfaces work and behave with his driving passion to bridge the gap between human, technology and business.
